The Batting Cage
The Batting Cage is designed to provide an additional layer of protection to your motion capture cameras, absorbing the impact and shock from a head-on strike from a baseball. These cages can help turn a broken camera into a mere foul ball.
The cage is intended to have the greatest ability to absorb energy from the front, although can sustain limited impact from the top and sides. Ideally, the cameras and cages are placed out of the intended “line of fire.” The cages are not intended to make the cameras indestructible. It is up to the user to evaluate the safe placement of the cameras to reduce risk of damage.
The Batting Cage is made to order. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for order fulfillment. Customization is available upon request, although may incur additional costs.
